Poetry |
| We listen to and read poetry daily!
Poetry offers children many opportunities to explore and learn essential
early literacy skills. We'll learn to listen and enjoy poetry,
read and perform poems in a variety of ways, and we'll even write some
poetry.
Children will bring a poem home weekly from the the Fast Start For Early Readers: A Research-Based, Send-Home Literacy Program in their B.E.A.R. book binder. Each poem will have an accompanying parent page! Read more about the homework opportunities for this program by clicking the star. |
